Rustic chic dining where you just won’t want to leave

Redcoats is able to cater for groups of up to 150, whether in one of our intimate private dining rooms, the conservatory or in a marquee on the lawn.

As well as weddings, we regularly host important occasions including birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, retirement dinners, business breakfasts, christening teas and funeral receptions.

Private Dining

For parties of 12 guests or more we recommend a private dining room.

The Oak Room

The Oak RoomFor parties of up to 16 guests

The Oak Room is in the oldest part of the house and features wood 
panelling and an inglenook fireplace. The Oak Room also leads out to a small private garden area.

The room is ideal for parties of 12-14 guests but will accommodate a maximum of 16.

The Victorian Room

The Victorian Room is situated at the front of the house with dual aspect windows and a small fireplace.

This room is ideal for parties of 20-24 but will accommodate a maximum of 25.

The Conservatory

The ConservatoryFor parties of 26 to 50 guests

The Conservatory is our main dining room and looks out over the gardens. With terracotta tiles and Lloyd Loom chairs the Conservatory is a light, informal and comfortable space to hold your function.

For parties of more than 50 guests there are a number options available to you from combining the conservatory with our gazebo, taking over the whole hotel or even hiring party tents or a marquee.


For groups of up to 25 guests our 3-course set lunch menu  is £20 per head (available Monday to Saturday) and our evening menu is £35 per head. The evening menu is also available at lunchtime at a £5 discount. The menus are seasonal and therefore change  frequently – for sample menus click here.

For larger parties we recommend either a set menu or a buffet. Afternoon tea is a popular alternative, starting at £15 per head (available Monday to Saturday until 4.30pm).  

Should none of these options suit your needs we are able to design a bespoke menu around your requirements and budget.
