Registered for civil Weddings for up to 80 people in a choice of three suites. For those wishing to marry in comfortable and pleasant surroundings Redcoats will provide a personalised and unforgettable day. We will gladly assist in the organisation from the flowers and the erection of marquees on the lawn to make your wedding reception the happy event you want it to be. Exclusive use can be arranged, subject to time of year.

We have the Oak Panelled Room with ingle-nook fireplace and handsome grandfather clock, the Victorian Room with long draped curtains, venetian chandelier and elegant portraits, and finally the Conservatory overlooking the lovely gardens available for your photographs - weather permitting! Meanwhile, our brigade of chefs will be preparing a delicious wedding breakfast.

Marquee Wedding Receptions in the Gardens at Redcoats. The Marquees are placed on the lawns in the main garden with a walkway to the Hotel. They have beautifully draped walls & ceilings with Georgian shaped window panels & a door out to the lawns & garden. A 20'X20' dance floor is normally situated at one end of the marquee with a space for a band or disco - the bar/buffet is at the opposite end. The Marquees are very spacious, from 60'X40' to 80'X40' & we cater for a minimum of 100 guests for the wedding breakfast with a few extra guests later in the evening if you wish. Yours guests will be seated at round tables and the top table can be the traditional long table or the more informal round table (depending on your numbers). We suggest you have a seating plan and place cards. Having served the first course with homemade bread & the wine, each table is invited to go up to the buffet table to choose their main course. We recommend that you discuss your menu requirement with Jackie Gainsford, Christine Titmuss or Liz Storer. Fully equipped Marquees are from £3600.00, depending on the size and type. A full bar can be set up in the Marquee. We also have facilities for catering in your own home, your own grounds or alternative venues.

We have three rooms within the Hotel that are registered for civil weddings. Costs are based on 100 guests - very approximately £120.00 per person -include the following;- Fully equipped Marquee
Canapés
Bucks Fizz on arrival, using Champagne & Freshly squeezed orange juice per glass
Wedding Breakfast (buffet) 3 courses & coffee
House wines per ½ bottle
Champagne toast
Supper buffet
A 10% service charge will be added to your account.

If you are inviting young children (4 to 14 years) to your wedding we would be grateful if there were a maximum of 6 (including bridesmaids and page boys). We would ask you to ensure that they are supervised, at all times, preferably by a person who is not a guest at the wedding (i.e. nanny or childminder). There are discounts on food for children under 6. Additional costs could be: -

· Helium balloons
· The flower arrangements on the tables
· The cost of civil ceremony
· Live musical Accompaniment
· Extra wine or champagne & costs incurred at the bar

If your numbers decrease after the initial booking please be aware that a venue fee may be charged. We feel this letter generally covers the major points of the Wedding Day. However, please do not hesitate to contact us if you feel there is anything else we can help you with. Our outside catering company maintains all the standards and quality that we provide and will assist you with the planning, management and organisation of any occasion, (from 25 to 250), that you may be considering.
